Mt Isa

Leaving Old Mary Kathleen campsite on Friday 24th June we headed into Mt Isa - first stop the laundromat to do a big wash (but 10 washing machines and 3 driers doesn't really work very well) so after a few housekeeping things in town we headed out to Moondarra Lake for lunch where we strung up our clothesline and dried the washing!  David had decided he didn't really want to do the underground mine tour so when the washing was dry we headed off again to a free overnight campspot not too far from Camooweal.

  1. Every time I see a photo taken through the windscreen, it gives me a jolt that you're driving on the "wrong" side of the road. Keep off the roads when I get back to Australia!!!
