David very carefully carried the above creature on the end of a stick over to the house and asked very seriously "can anyone tell me what in the world this is? Is it some sort of snake head?"

This is David looking to see if he can find China!!! No actually he was in the process of fixing the watering system inside the yard and had dug a hole around a sprinkler that wasn't working properly. It was just a funny sight from the house!!!
Looks like a piece of barbecued meat (rolled in twigs!) to me. Bit hard to tell from the photo what size it is and what angle I'm viewing it from!
