Yippeeeeeeee - The long awaited arrival of Annaleise at Perth airport at 11.10pm on Monday 14th November finally arrived. It was 12months since we had seen her last so there was lots of catching up to do but there was also a little sleep required as we had to be up and going next morning before it got too late as we wanted to reach Albany early enough to have a look around the town before dark. Annaleise was about to again experience what is was like to have a caravan road trip with Mum and Dad, covering many hundreds of km's, seeing a little slice of her own country and stopping for lots of roadside cuppa's, lunches and overnight stops, all in 6 days!!!!!
Tuesday morning 15th November we were on our way. With 3 cameras clicking away there promised to be a great number of photos taken by the end of the 6 days!!!!
Above and Below - views from different lookout spots on the way to the lookout at Albany
There were lots of warning signs about turtles (two in this photo) but we didn't see any.
A sign at the entry to the Rose Gardens caravan park we stayed in at Albany!!! (Annaleise's photo)
More views of Albany harbour
Two tugs getting into position to guide a ship into the harbour and port
Bringing the ship into the port
At the Albany Lookout
Annaleise Resting & Reflecting (Annaleise's photo )
Albany Port
Daughter and Mother
A wild flower - no idea what it's called
This one I do know - It's a common dandelion - a perfect specimen and a perfect photo of it!! (good work David) He even captured every crack in my hand and my wedding ring pattern!!!
There were dozens of these fellas lying here and there in patches of sun as we walked up to the lookout at Albany
Great to see some pics of sis's holiday! With three cameras, no wonder you got some great shots.
