Owen and his wife Philippa had a 2 month premmie son on 11/1/11 and Philippa was still in Brisbane with little Jarvis. On 13th I went to Brisbane with my Dad to spend time with Philippa and Jarvis until he was released from hospital which happened on Tues. 15th March. Jarvis is a very content little fella, doing what all baby's do ( eating and sleeping, pooing and spewing!!! ) and we are being useful where we can, David with the harvest and odd jobs and me with the cooking, washing and baby spoiling (aunties are allowed to do that!!!). Jarvis's big sister Lara is fascinated with her little brother and likes to get very close to him so she can touch him.

By the feel of it here winter is not too far away!!!
| Still room to grow yet!!! |
On Saturday 19th we had Christmas Dinner, Philippa's birthday, Lara's birthday and Jarvis's actual birth date (16th march) celebrations as Philippa had been in hospital (Dalby and Brisbane) since Christmas Eve so had missed all the important days.
Hi you lucky ducks!!! Glad you haven't forgotton the old folks back in Bundy!!! You are right about us being Green(not grey) with envy, but one day you might be surprised when you look in the "Reversing Camera" and see us right behind you eating your dust(might be the only feed we get). We are not sure when we will pick up our "LITTLE OL VAN" maybe next weekend, so keep looking for us!!! We will probably have to park under your awning in case our roof leaks???? That will be good we can use your toilet and shower, hope we don't wake you up in the middle of the night!!! So we are now one step closer to our dream, but chris reckons you will probably be on your 5th time round before we join you. But we will keep on dreamin till then??? Great to hear of your travels and look forward to the next episode. Love Chris and Jen
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, Was a great thrill for me to find your comment here thank you (the first friend to comment). We'll look out for you on the road for sure (that's when we get on the road ourselves!!!)The awning is vacant!!!! Be awhile yet before we finish all the work lined up for us in this neck of the woods so you have some time yet to get your van and get it packed and ready to go!!! Get to it!!!
ReplyDeleteAw...Jarvis is so tiny and adorable! I actually wrote a comment on this the other day and only just realised it didn't come up. Hmm...hope you're not having too many teething problems with the blog? I discovered today if you read mine in Internet Explorer, only half the post shows! Grr, so annoying! Anyways, hopefully will be sorted out soon!
ReplyDeleteDalby is still a little way from here but the first part of your travels has brought you closer to us : ) Sounds like you've been a great help out there, since I've been living here I've learnt a lot about how busy the harvest is from friends and family. Seems like you found your 'blog voice' straight away, what you have written so far is very interesting : ) Now you have 5 followers, hooray!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't realised before that Jarvis has such a cool DOB!
ReplyDeleteHey Chany, Thanks for visiting our blog and leaving a comment, next week we will be even closer to you, hope to be at Murphy's Creek working for awhile at my cousins place.
ReplyDeleteYes Leisie it is a cool DOB, easy to remember.
