Towards the end of 2010 we thought it would be safe to start seriously looking for our "home on wheels" so after much time spent doing that we ordered a new Sunland Caravan (Patriot) 20' 6" long, off-road, fully self-contained with ensuite, solar and battery power, washing machine, generator, queen size bed, oven and much more so we wouldn't need to stay in caravan parks every night. Then the next step was to find a car that would pull the caravan effortlessly. David had his name down at many Toyota dealers with an order in for a suitable Land Cruiser. As the end of 2010 drew closer David found a Cruiser on the net that sounded good so after giving it a test run we bought it.

So on the 13th December, 2010 it was "Good-bye Woodgate Beach" and "Hello Tiaro" for a few short months while we sorted out all our belongings, Annaleise and Ben's and Roxy's belongings and fitted it all into our Tiaro shed to store for an indefinate time!!! It required much packing, re-packing, moving, shuffling, sorting and re-sorting to fit it all in.

Just before Christmas we brought the new caravan home and the packing of the van started. We planned to do a "trial run" for a week in the van before we left on our "working holiday." So after New Year the packing of the caravan started and with many questions of "do you think we'll need this in the van?, can we do without this for our trip?, will I use this if we take it?, is there room to fit this under the bed?, where's the best place to store this?!!!!!! The process of elimination continued but eventually it was packed and one week before we were to vacate the Tiaro house we moved into the van permanately so it was easier to finish up last minute packing and cleaning of the house.
